Light in Vision Logistics ("we", "us", "our") provides logistics, freight forwarding and related services in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below. By requesting a quotation, booking a shipment or using our digital platforms, you (the "Customer") agree to these Terms of Service.
These Terms are designed for professional use in the logistics and freight forwarding industry and should be read together with any service-level agreements, rate offers or written instructions issued for specific shipments.

Service Scope
We act as a logistics service provider and, where applicable, as a freight forwarder coordinating transport, customs clearance, warehousing and related activities.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we may perform services directly or through selected third parties such as carriers, customs brokers, warehouse operators and other subcontractors.
Our responsibility is limited to the proper coordination and management of services within the agreed scope. We do not assume the role of carrier unless explicitly stated in a specific contract or transport document.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete shipment information, including description of goods, value, weight, dimensions, HS codes and any special handling requirements.
- Ensure that all documentation supplied (commercial invoice, packing list, permits, certificates, etc.) is true, correct and complies with applicable laws.
- Inform us in advance of any hazardous, restricted or regulated cargo and provide all mandatory declarations and approvals.
- Observe agreed cut-off times for documentation, booking confirmation and payments to avoid delays and additional charges.
- Review and promptly notify us of any discrepancies in quotations, invoices or shipment status information.
Liability & Limitations
Our liability for loss, damage, delay or errors in relation to services is limited in accordance with applicable international conventions, local laws and standard freight forwarding conditions, where such frameworks apply.
Where we act as an agent for the Customer and contract with carriers or other third parties on the Customer's behalf, any rights and remedies shall be governed by the terms and liability limits of those parties (e.g. air, sea or road carriers).
We are not liable for indirect, consequential or purely financial losses such as loss of profit, loss of market, loss of contract or reputational damage.
Any claim must be notified in writing within the time limits specified by applicable law, transport conventions or governing contracts. Failure to do so may bar the claim.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control (often referred to as force majeure), including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, war, civil unrest, strikes, lockouts, cyber incidents, infrastructure failures or sudden changes in law or customs policy.
In such circumstances, we will take reasonable steps to mitigate impact and keep the Customer informed, but timelines, routing and costs may be affected.
Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are payable within the payment terms indicated on the invoice or contract. Delays in payment may result in interest charges, service suspension or retention of documents and goods where allowed by law.
We reserve the right to require prepayment, bank guarantees or other forms of security before commencing or continuing services, particularly where exposure to duties, taxes or carrier charges exists.
All duties, taxes, storage, demurrage, detention and similar third-party charges are for the Customer's account unless expressly included and confirmed in writing.
Customs & Regulatory Compliance
Customs clearance and regulatory compliance are performed based on the information and documents provided by the Customer. We do not accept responsibility for fines, penalties or delays arising from incomplete, inaccurate or misleading data.
The Customer remains responsible for ensuring that goods, valuations, tariff classifications and origin declarations comply with applicable customs and trade laws.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where our principal office is located, unless otherwise stipulated in a specific contract.
In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable resolution through negotiation. If no settlement is reached, disputes may be referred to competent courts or arbitration as agreed in writing.
